Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how PurrFit ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal data when you use our website, quiz, mobile app and related services (the "Service"), and the choices and rights you have.

1. Who is responsible

PurrFit is the controller of your personal data. Contact us about privacy at support@purrfit.app.

2. Data we collect

• Quiz and profile data: gender, age, height, current and target weight, goals, activity level, sleep, diet, eating habits, emotional-eating answers and similar information you choose to give.
• Contact and account data: e-mail address, first name, the account we create for you and its identifier.
• Purchase data: the plan and offers you buy, prices, dates and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us.
• App usage data: food logs, progress, settings and in-app activity.
• Technical data: device and browser type, language, approximate location derived from your IP address, identifiers, and how you navigate the Service.
• Communications: messages you send to support.

3. Health data

Some answers (such as weight, body type or eating patterns) are data about your health. We process them only to build and run your personalised plan, on the basis of your explicit consent given when you take the quiz. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us; we will then stop processing that data, which may mean we can no longer provide the plan.

4. Why we use your data and on what basis

• To provide the Service — build your plan, create your account, process purchases and give support (performance of a contract).
• To keep the Service safe — prevent fraud and abuse, secure accounts (legitimate interests; legal obligations).
• To improve the Service — understand which screens and features work, fix problems (legitimate interests).
• Marketing — send tips and offers by e-mail and measure our ads, where you agreed (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To meet legal duties — tax, accounting and responding to lawful requests (legal obligation).

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers that process it for us under contract, including: cloud hosting and storage, user authentication (Google Firebase), payment processing, e-mail delivery, analytics and advertising measurement (only with your consent), and customer support tools. We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.

6. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep data

We keep account and plan data while your account is active and delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period after you close it, except where we must keep records longer by law (for example invoices). Quiz answers from visitors who do not buy are deleted after a short period.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data; to restrict or object to processing; to withdraw consent; and not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you. To use these rights, write to support@purrfit.app. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

We use storage in your browser to remember your quiz progress and settings, and, with your consent, analytics and advertising technologies to measure and improve our campaigns. You can change your choice at any time in your browser settings.

10. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable providers to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password safe.

11. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

We may update this notice. We will post the new version here with a new date and, if the change is significant, tell you in the app or by e-mail.
